Newton Machine Exhibition @CCCB

We were delighted to win the Cultural Innovation International Prize 2017, awarded by CCCB Art Gallery in Barcelona, for our project, The Newton Machine. The Newton Machine is a design manual and prototype for an energy storage device, made with a local community using their tools, spare parts, and expertise. Petrocultures 2018 keynote in Glasgow

There's a fantastic line up for Petrocultures 2018 in Glasgow, including my energetic colleagues and collaborators from Cultures of Energy, Rice University, Dominic Boyer and Cymene Howe. Call for papers closes on 2 February. ASLE-UKI keynote in Orkney

Thrilled to be giving a keynote at the Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (UK and Ireland) conference this year, which is being held in Orkney! The conference is happening in conjunction with the Orkney International Science Festival.
