Over the last 25 years I’ve worked with the telecoms industry, public transport industry, energy industry, the tech industry–and the places where the energy and tech industries meet. I’ve worked with islands with a few hundred people, to islands with a few thousand, to countries with millions.

I’ve gone from a physics and computer science degree, to a career designing tech futures, to almost twenty years in academia, most recently as a professor in social studies of science & technology. All that time I have written and made futures in collaboration with teams and communities world wide.
