The Future-Makers Compass was a navigational aid to finding other researchers who make futures from creative methods, interventions, speculative or fabulations. The compass features QR codes to websites for researchers–directions for safe harbour and horizons for exploration.
I wanted to help others find the many colleagues whose work inspires me and who I work alongside.
I created the compass as part of my residency at SeedBox environmental humanities collaboratory during Autumn 2016. The compass links are therefore historical but the directions remain ever-relevant.
