Announcing my appearance at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this year, as part of the New York Times debate series ‘From Carbon’s Casualties to Climate Solutions’.
I’ll be in conversation with Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times photographer of climate change, Josh Haner, and Australian novelist and campaigner, Tim Winton. We’ll be talking about some positive planetary solutions, featuring my new book Energy at the End of the World: An Orkney Islands Saga
